Lion City Bus Simulator SHIOK ("the app") is developed and published by Kaomi Lim ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how. Google Play requires this policy to be hosted at a public URL — publish this page (e.g. via GitHub Pages) and paste its URL into Play Console → App content → Privacy policy.
- The app does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or contact details. - Game progress (captain name, coins, quests, collected passengers, settings) is stored only on your device and never uploaded by us. - The app shows advertising via Google AdMob, which collects limited device data to serve and measure ads. - Maps are rendered with the Mapbox SDK, which may collect anonymized usage and diagnostics telemetry. - The optional "Nearby Stops" feature uses your device location **on the device only** — the app never transmits your location to us.
Game progress and preferences (your chosen captain name, coins, quests, achievements, streaks, cosmetics, sound/notification settings, and local usage metrics such as session duration) are saved in the app's private local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it (for example, sharing a route-result card). Deleting the app deletes this data.
If you use the optional "Nearby Stops" feature, the app asks for location permission and uses your current position solely to list real bus stops within about 500 metres of you. Location is processed on-device and is not sent to our servers (we operate none). You can use the entire game without granting location permission.
Google AdMob (Google LLC) — serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), ad interaction data, IP address, and diagnostic information to serve and measure advertising. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android settings.
Mapbox (Mapbox, Inc.) — renders the in-game map. The Mapbox SDK may collect anonymized device and usage telemetry (such as coarse device data and map-usage diagnostics) to improve its services. See https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy.
OpenStreetMap tiles — street-view map tiles are fetched from OpenStreetMap tile servers; standard web-request data (IP address) applies. See https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. It shows personalised advertising via AdMob and is therefore intended for users aged 13 and above.
The app creates no server-side data, so there is nothing for us to delete: uninstalling the app removes all locally-stored game data. For data collected by Google AdMob or Mapbox, refer to their policies linked above. For any privacy question, contact us at kaomiwings@gmail.com.
